At your pace, on your terms, with nobody looking down on you.
Please don't be embarrassed. Whatever it looks like, we have seen it before.
You don't have to have decided anything. A lot of people call just to find out what it would involve, and then think about it for a while. That's completely fine.
Nobody will pressure you, and nobody will show up unless you ask us to.
If you'd rather not have anyone in the house yet, we can do the whole assessment by video call, or from photos you send us.
Same free quote. Nobody at your door until you decide you're ready for that.
Taking things away is only part of it. Underneath, there's often waste, spoiled food or pest contamination that has built up quietly over a long time.
That part is biohazard work. It needs certified handling, protective equipment and licensed disposal, and it's the reason an ordinary cleaning crew can't finish the job.
We do both parts (the clearing and the decontamination) with one company, one quote, and nothing left for you to arrange afterwards.
We're cleanup specialists, not builders. If the house needs structural repair, new flooring or drywall replacing afterwards, we'll tell you plainly and introduce you to someone good.
We don't do mold, fire or water damage either. Same reason: we'd rather hand you to someone who does it properly.
Hoarding jobs vary more than anything else we do, so anyone giving you a firm price over the phone is guessing.
Here's what actually moves the number, so it isn't a mystery:
| What we look at | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Contamination | The biggest factor by far. A full but clean house costs a fraction of one with waste, pests or spoiled food. |
| Volume | How much physically has to leave, and how many loads that takes. |
| Sorting | Whether things need searching carefully for valuables and paperwork, or can go straight out. |
| Access | Stairs, narrow hallways, upper floors and blocked doorways all add time. |
| Disposal | Regulated waste is charged by weight and has to go out through a licensed route. |
If the number doesn't work for you, that is a perfectly fine answer. We'll leave the written quote with you anyway, in case it helps later or someone else in the family wants to see it.
We can also work in stages, a room at a time, if that makes it more manageable.
Hoarding isn't laziness and it isn't a character flaw. We're not there to have an opinion about how the house got this way.
Nothing important leaves without your say-so. If you need to stop for the day, we stop for the day.
We don't talk to neighbors, and we don't share anything with anyone but you and whoever you ask us to.
